The Post Review - North Branch participates in state sustainability program

The city of North Branch is currently striving for GreenStep city status, about which North Branch Deputy City Clerk Ragina Varma gave a presentation during the North Branch City Council meeting Oct. 9.

Minnesota GreenStep Cities is a voluntary program started by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to recognize cities that have taken initiative to achieve certain sustainability and quality-of-life goals. The MPCA set out guidelines that cities can follow to save time, money and effort.
